Autumn With Black Bear Original Watercolour (framed)

Description

The idea for Autumn with Black Bear comes from watching my border collies while out for walks in the woods. Every once and in a while, the environment will cause them to react with a little confusion. Wither it be mistaking the moon for a ball in the sky or a stick looking like a snake, the momentary interruption in a casual scene is something I find entertaining.  In this painting,  a black bear pauses mid-drink, distracted by a gentle cascade of falling leaves . Ripples spread across the lake while warm autumn colours fill the scene, bringing a sense of stillness and gentle interruption.
